Tammy and I went hiking at Sky Meadows Statepark in Delaphine, VA. We were searching for autumn and foliage pictures. The sky was slightly overcast and hazy but we found some color and wonderful landscapes. Since it was our first visit to the park, we attempted the shortest trail, Piedmont Ridge, this proved to also be the steepest trail. The effort was worth the beautiful views from the top. We enjoyed the park, the trails are well marked and the number of hikers was small.
