We went to Barcelona in September 2009 (11-16). Its a great city to visit with a vibrant downtown and beautiful architecture. The highlight of the trip was visiting Camp Nou, the Picasso Museum, the aquarium and the Gaudi buildings. The guidebook said the Barcelona FC tour was the most popular museum in the city.

After Barcelona, we took the high speed AVE train to Madrid. I liked Barcelona much better.
